Hello everyone! Happy Friday! Glad to be back amongst the WordPress family and Fiesta Friday! So where have I been and what have I been up to you ask? Or maybe you haven’t asked, maybe you haven’t noticed I’ve been MIA. That’s okay, but I am going to tell you anyway …
Firstly, the good news. I am discovering my new-found love for painting. Painting and drinking wine, haha, the combination is most therapeutic. Some very nice evenings are spent painting and drinking a glass …or two! 😉

So much is going on in my life right now, unfortunately my blog has suffered greatly. My traffic is down and this is one of the first posts I’ve done in a little over a month. But now I am back, and hopefully to stay.
I lost my job of over 5 years in February. I have so much on my mind and on my plate. Looking for jobs, job interviews, training, assessments and tests …the list goes on. I forgot how stressful it is to lose your job and be back out there in the job line. Ugh! But hey, I am not done! I dusted myself off after the fall, and I am determined that this rough patch is not going to defeat me. I am strong, and with faith and hope, I will make it through. In the meantime I have a little help from my friends and family, painting and wine!
Well looks like it is time to see what is going on with the ladies at Fiesta Friday, still my favorite link-up party. Woo-hoo, let the festivities begin!

And painting is actually one of my hobbies, even though I haven’t done it in a while. You’re off to an amazing start. If this is your first time, then I’d say you’re naturally gifted! 👍

Thank you Angie, for the job well wishes, and for the compliment on my painting! Yes, well this is my 3rd painting actually. The first two …well the first, especially, I have hanging in the garage where no one sees it, LOL. I am learning and having fun! So you are talented in baking, cooking and painting! This is great! Love to see what people are talking about in the world of painting. Also, great job on the paintings. My fave is “Winter Moon”, but I love the “Whimsical Owl” too. My friend’s daughter loves owls and she would love it so much. So fun!
