Well the Ground Hog saw his shadow, 6 more weeks of winter. Interpretation: more dry skin, chapped lips, endless days of grey skies and cold dreary weather. The only good thing about winter, and I think we all agree, is a Snow Day!
I will be the first to tell you that this is okay by me! If the entire city wants to shut down because of bad weather, hey who am I to say any different. I am not interested in getting out and driving around in freezing rain, sleet and snow. I don’t do cold very well at all!
Of course, sometimes we get it wrong …
But the truth is …no one really cares, because everyone wants a snow day!!
Okay, so that covers the only good thing about winter. Moving on …
It is cold outside!!! No motivation. In the winter all that you want to do is snuggle in bed, in your fuzzy socks and pajamas, watching movies and eating. Hmmm …how do you spell weight gain!
The days are shorter. By the time you get home from work it is dark.
You have to wear more clothes in the winter. It takes an extra 10 minutes in the morning just to layer up.
Not to mention getting out of all those clothes.
Summer clothes are much cuter. It is really hard to look sexy in a big bulky sweater.
But then on the flip side …
Who really enjoys getting up extra early to go out in freezing weather and scrape ice off your windshield?
Well there you have it! 5 Reasons We Don’t Like Winter. I can think of more …but then hey, I would be here until Spring!
Which come to think of it may not be such a bad idea! 😉

I didn’t like winter when I lived in Dallas; and I’m not to fond of it now that I live in Virginia. People drive bad enough in good weather.

Haha! Yes, people drive crazy here too! I don’t worry about myself driving in ice as much as I do the other person on the road! But all and all, it is really a pretty mild winter here on the coast …Dallas is much colder. Maybe Virginia as well? Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting 🙂

Oh my gosh! This is the way I feel today! Thanks for making me laugh! It was -35 wind chill here yesterday and today it was above 0 degrees for five minutes. oh who are we kidding! Winter sucks, but your humor is great!
