This is a great recipe for anytime of the year at any time of the day, all day long! It is moist and yummy and one of my favorite snack cakes. I always make it around the holidays when my kids are home from school. They love the chocolatey goodness and sweet banana flavor. It is a favorite on the go snack for the busy on the go teenager 😉
A good one for us moms too! Perfect quick snack to go along with a cup of coffee …yummy! And of course a glass of milk to go with this …always hits the spot 🙂
The perfect combination of easy and delicious! I decided this would be a good one to take along to Fiesta Friday. I hope the wonderful group over at Angie’s, The Novice Gardener enjoy it as much as we do. 🙂
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Now on to the party! Hope to see you there!
Chocolate Banana Snack Cake
Ingredients
2 very ripe medium bananas
1 1/4 cups flour
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened baking cocoa
1/3 cup oil
1/3 cup water
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon white vinegar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Directions
1 Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 8-inch square pan; set aside. Place bananas in a large bowl and mash with fork; stir in remaining ingredients except chocolate chips, mix well. Pour batter in pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips over batter.
2 Bake 35 to 37 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool completely, about 45 minutes.

Looks very moist and delicious ARL 😋 I noticed you used no eggs and very little oil. A healthier version of chocolate cake finally 🙆
